Folder Comparison Keyboard Shortcuts

Key Description
Ctrl+A Select all the files in the results list.
Ctrl+Shift+Alt+B Open a new binary comparison.
Ctrl+D Open a new folder comparison.
Ctrl+Alt+E Delete the selected files and folders.
Ctrl+F Open the Find window.
Alt+F Open the Application menu .
Ctrl+Shift+F Hide any folders in the results list that appear to contain no files or sub-folders.
Ctrl+Alt+F Toggle folder comparison results between the normal, hierarchical view and a non-hierarchical, flat list of files.
Ctrl+H Hide the selected files and folders.
Ctrl+I Invert the selection of files in the results list.
Ctrl+L Open a new text comparison window.
Ctrl+M Launch a file comparison window for each selected set of files.
Ctrl+P Open the Print window.
Ctrl+Shift+Alt+P Open a new image comparison.
Ctrl+Q Copy selected files and folders from the second folder hierarchy to the first folder hierarchy.
Ctrl+R Recompare the selected files and folders.
Ctrl+S Select all the changed files in the results list.
Ctrl+T Deselect all the files and folders in the results list.
Ctrl+Shift+Alt+T Open a new text comparison for patching.
Ctrl+W Copy selected files and folders from the first folder hierarchy to the second folder hierarchy.
Ctrl++ (plus) Expand all the folders in the results list.
Ctrl+- (minus) Collapse all the folders in the results list.
Esc Stop any folder comparison or re-comparison operation that is in progress.
Ctrl+Page Up Move the editing cursor to the top of the previous change.
Ctrl+Page Down Move the editing cursor to the top of the next change.
Ctrl+F1 Toggle the display of the ribbon.
F3 Select the next matching file or folder (see also Ctrl+F).
Shift+F3 Select the previous matching file or folder.
F5 Re-compare the two folder hierarchies.
Ctrl+F6 or
Ctrl+Tab
