Folder Comparison Keyboard Shortcuts

Key Description
CtrlA Select all the files in the results list.
CtrlShiftAltB Open a new binary comparison.
CtrlD Open a new folder comparison.
CtrlAltE Delete the selected files and folders.
CtrlF Open the Find window.
AltF Open the Application menu .
CtrlShiftF Hide any folders in the results list that appear to contain no files or sub-folders.
CtrlAltF Toggle folder comparison results between the normal, hierarchical view and a non-hierarchical, flat list of files.
CtrlH Hide the selected files and folders.
CtrlI Invert the selection of files in the results list.
CtrlL Open a new text comparison window.
CtrlM Launch a file comparison window for each selected set of files.
CtrlP Open the Print window.
CtrlShiftAltP Open a new image comparison.
CtrlQ Copy selected files and folders from the second folder hierarchy to the first folder hierarchy.
CtrlR Recompare the selected files and folders.
CtrlS Select all the changed files in the results list.
CtrlT Deselect all the files and folders in the results list.
CtrlShiftAltT Open a new text comparison for patching.
CtrlW Copy selected files and folders from the first folder hierarchy to the second folder hierarchy.
Ctrl+ (plus) Expand all the folders in the results list.
Ctrl- (minus) Collapse all the folders in the results list.
Esc Stop any folder comparison or re-comparison operation that is in progress.
CtrlPage Up Move the editing cursor to the top of the previous change.
CtrlPage Down Move the editing cursor to the top of the next change.
CtrlF1 Toggle the display of the ribbon.
F3 Select the next matching file or folder (see also CtrlF).
ShiftF3 Select the previous matching file or folder.
F5 Re-compare the two folder hierarchies.
CtrlF6 or
