Folder Comparison Keyboard Shortcuts

Key Description
Ctrl+A Selects all the files in the results list.
Ctrl+D Opens a new folder comparison window.
Ctrl+Alt+E Deletes the selected files and folders.
Ctrl+F Opens the Find window.
Ctrl+Shift+F Hides any folders in the results list that appear to contain no files or sub-folders.
Ctrl+H Hides the selected files and folders.
Ctrl+I Inverts the selection of files in the results list.
Ctrl+L Opens a new text comparison window.
Ctrl+M Launches a file comparison window for each selected set of files.
Ctrl+P Opens the Print window.
Ctrl+Q Copies selected files and folders from the second folder hierarchy to the first folder hierarchy.
Ctrl+R Recompares the selected files and folders.
Ctrl+S Selects all the changed files in the results list.
Ctrl+T Deselects all the files and folders in the results list.
Ctrl+W Copies selected files and folders from the first folder hierarchy to the second folder hierarchy.
Ctrl++ (plus) Expands all the folders in the results list.
Ctrl+- (minus) Collapses all the folders in the results list.
Esc Stops any folder comparison or re-comparison operation that is in progress.
Ctrl+Page Up Moves the editing cursor to the top of the previous change.
Ctrl+Page Down Moves the editing cursor to the top of the next change.
F3 Selects the next matching file or folder (see also Ctrl+F).
Shift+F3 Selects the previous matching file or folder.
F5 Re-compares the two folder hierarchies.
