Folder Comparison Keyboard Shortcuts

| CtrlA | Select all the files in the results list. |
| CtrlShiftAltB | Open a new binary comparison. |
| CtrlD | Open a new folder comparison. |
| CtrlAltE | Delete the selected files and folders. |
| CtrlF | Open the Find window. |
| AltF | Open the Application menu  . |
| CtrlShiftF | Hide any folders in the results list that appear to contain no files or sub-folders. |
| CtrlAltF | Toggle folder comparison results between the normal, hierarchical view and a non-hierarchical, flat list of files. |
| CtrlH | Hide the selected files and folders. |
| CtrlI | Invert the selection of files in the results list. |
| CtrlL | Open a new text comparison window. |
| CtrlM | Launch a file comparison window for each selected set of files. |
| CtrlP | Open the Print window. |
| CtrlShiftAltP | Open a new image comparison. |
| CtrlQ | Copy selected files and folders from the second folder hierarchy to the first folder hierarchy. |
| CtrlR | Recompare the selected files and folders. |
| CtrlS | Select all the changed files in the results list. |
| CtrlT | Deselect all the files and folders in the results list. |
| CtrlShiftAltT | Open a new text comparison for patching. |
| CtrlW | Copy selected files and folders from the first folder hierarchy to the second folder hierarchy. |
| Ctrl+ (plus) | Expand all the folders in the results list. |
| Ctrl- (minus) | Collapse all the folders in the results list. |
| Esc | Stop any folder comparison or re-comparison operation that is in progress. |
| CtrlAlt↑ or CtrlPage Up |
Move to the previous change in the entire comparison, as the Previous change in comparison  ribbon button does. In a non-split-view folder comparison, this moves to the previous changed row. In a split-view folder comparison, it steps backwards through every change in every file of the folder comparison. |
| CtrlAlt↓ or CtrlPage Down |
Move to the next change in the entire comparison, as the Next change in comparison  ribbon button does. In a non-split-view folder comparison, this moves to the next changed row. In a split-view folder comparison, it steps forwards through every change in every file of the folder comparison. |
