Either way, it’s a simple three-step process.

You will be shown the entitlement for each of your serial numbers, and can choose your desired action (renew support, upgrade from Standard to Professional or, in the case that your serial numbers relate to a v6.0 subscription, exchange serial numbers for free). The cost, if any, of your selected action will be shown.

The fastest way to purchase an upgrade is online (through our US reseller, BMT Micro) using your credit card. To do so, follow the link included in the quotation email.
If you do not wish to purchase your upgrade online, please contact your chosen reseller (see the list of Araxis resellers) to place your order. You will need to provide your reseller with a copy of the quotation email containing the authorization code.

Yes. Just use the Merge Upgrade/Support Renewal or Standard to Professional Upgrade form in the usual way. On the page that appears once you have submitted your serial numbers, take care to specify ‘upgrade from Standard to Professional’ for the I want to option.
Yes. Your new serial number will entitle you to support and upgrades for a full year, even if you are upgrading from an old version of Merge Standard. This means that you will be entitled to use the latest versions of Araxis Merge Professional released before and during your year of support.
Yes. The same serial numbers work for Merge on both platforms. The only requirement for a serial number to work with either version of Merge is that its support expiry date is after the release date of the version of Merge that you are trying to use.
No. There is no penalty if you don’t renew straight away. Of course, we hope that you will find value in maintaining ongoing access to support and the latest upgrades to Merge.
The easiest way to find out your entitlement is to enter your serial number(s) into the Support Renewal or Upgrade form.
Yes. Simply enter all the serial numbers together as a single batch into the Upgrade/Support Renewal or Standard to Professional Upgrade form. If you purchase support renewal, your replacement serial numbers will all have the same support expiry date.
We pro-rate the support renewal fee appropriately for each serial number that is entered as part of a batch into the Upgrade/Support Renewal or Standard to Professional Upgrade form. When you purchase support renewal, your replacement serial numbers will therefore all have the same support expiry date.
If you subsequently purchase additional licences, simply include those with your existing serial numbers the next time you come to renew support.
Our arrangements with resellers mean that they can only process a quotation in its entirety. If you’d like to renew only some of the serial numbers for which you have a renewal quotation, please request another quotation using the Support Renewal or Upgrade form, this time for just the serial numbers that you want to renew.

If you purchased a Merge v6.0 subscription (but not if you simply have a v6.0 non-subscription licence), you are entitled to Merge 2007 (this is the new name for Merge v7.0). It is likely, however, that support has expired for your existing serial number(s). If so, you can use the same three steps shown above to exchange (at no cost) your pre Merge 2007 serial numbers for ones having a later support expiry date that will work with Merge 2007. You won’t need to do this if your existing serial number already works with Merge 2007 and later.
