Following a system failure, or inadvertent deletion of important information in the Ketura database, it might be necessary to restore a Ketura system using a previously-made database backup.
It is important to realise that, if you restore a database, you will have lost any changes made to the Ketura system since the backup you restored was made.
To restore a Ketura database from a backup
- Ensure that the backup file from which you wish to restore is present on the hard disk of the Ketura server.
- Visit the Restore database tab of the Database Backup and Restore page (available from the global System tab), and restore the database. Further information about the restore process is available on the help for the Manage Database Page.
