This page displays the details of a contact.

Details

A contact is a person whose details are known to Ketura. It is not necessary to store contact information in Ketura. However, doing so allows contacts to be related to an issue. Such a contact might be the customer whose bug report has led to the issue being raised.

All Ketura users automatically have contacts generated for them.

Depending on your permissions, you may be able to perform the actions below.

To update the contact’s details:
  • Update the form. The field First name must be completed to update the contact’s details.
  • Click the Apply button.
To abandon changes before you have applied them:
  • Click the Reset button. The fields will be restored to their previous values.

Description of form fields

Type The type of contact (for example, User, Employee or Customer).
First name The first name of the contact.
Last name The last name of the contact.
Email The email address of the contact. If entered, basic validation of the email address is carried out.
Job title The job title, if relevant, of the contact.
Company The name of the company with which the contact is associated, if relevant.
Address The first line of the postal address of the contact.
Address The second line of the postal address (should one exist) of the contact.
City The town or city of the contact’s postal address.
State/region The state or region of the contact’s postal address.
Post/zip code The post/zip code of the contact’s postal address.
Country The country of the contact’s postal address.
Phone The telephone number of the contact. This is a free text field, and as such characters as well as numbers are allowed.
Fax The fax number of the contact. This is a free text field, and as such characters as well as numbers are allowed.

Notes

This tab lets you store arbitrary notes about the contact.

Depending on your permissions, you may be able to perform the actions below.

To update the contact’s notes:
  • Update the Notes field.
  • Click the Apply button.
To abandon changes before you have applied them:
  • Click the Reset button. The fields will be restored to their previous values.

Description of form fields

Notes This field is for arbitrary notes about the contact.

Issues of interest to this contact

This tab shows those issues deemed to be of interest to the contact.

Contacts are associated with an issue by means of the Related tab on an issue’s page.

To view a summary of several issues in a form suitable for printing:
  • Select the issues for which you wish to print a summary by checking their checkboxes in the issue table.
  • Click the Print… button.
To change the sort order of the issues:
  • Click one of the column heading links. Each time you click the same link, the order in which the issues are sorted will be reversed.

Description of table columns

Issue The id of the issue. If you have permission to view the relevant issue, the id is a link to the issue’s page.
Summary The short summary of the issue, followed, in square brackets, by the issue’s state, severity, type and topic (as a link if you have permission to view the topic).
Selection A checkbox that, when checked, selects the issue. Selected issues are highlighted with a blue background. You can select all the issues in the current table page by clicking the checkbox in the column’s heading.
