This page lets you add a new contact.

Add contact

A contact is a person whose details are known to Ketura. Contacts may be added to an issue (such a contact might be the customer whose bug report has led to the issue being raised). All Ketura users automatically have contacts generated for them. For background information on contacts, see Ketura Tour Step 6: Users and Contacts.

This tab lets you add a new contact.

To add a new contact:
  • Complete the form. The fields Type, and First name must be completed to create a new contact.
  • Click the Apply button.
To abandon the creation of the new contact:
  • Click the Cancel button.

Description of form fields

Type The type of contact (for example, User, Employee or Customer).
First name The first name of the contact.
Last name The last name of the contact.
Email The email address of the contact. If entered, basic validation of the email address is carried out.
Job title The job title, if relevant, of the contact.
Company The name of the company with which the contact is associated, if relevant.
Address The first line of the postal address of the contact.
Address The second line of the postal address (should one exist) of the contact.
City The town or city of the contact’s postal address.
State/region The state or region of the contact’s postal address.
Post/zip code The post/zip code of the contact’s postal address.
Country The country of the contact’s postal address.
Phone The telephone number of the contact. This is a free text field, and as such characters as well as numbers are allowed.
Fax The fax number of the contact. This is a free text field, and as such characters as well as numbers are allowed.
Notes Other notes that are recorded for the contact.
