Ketura is designed to help people to work together more effectively, making it possible to deliver products and services on time and within budget. Ketura incorporates sophisticated scheduling capabilities that can give meaningful schedule estimates, taking into account the latest expectations of team members.

Araxis would welcome feedback from people trying the preview in a wide range of organizations. Note: the documentation for this preview, particularly the tutorials, is incomplete. This preview is therefore currently best suited to those used to trying out pre-release software.

Merge now works with FTP servers (22 June 2004)

Araxis is pleased to announce the immediate availability of its FTP plugin for Merge v6.5. This enables Merge to access files and folders located on an FTP server. For example, it is now possible to use Merge to synchronize a local copy of a website’s content with the main site itself, provided the main site is running an FTP server. Access Perforce depots and Visual SourceSafe databases with Merge (22 June 2004)

Araxis is pleased to announce its Perforce and Visual SourceSafe plugins for Merge v6.5. These give Merge read-only access to files and folders located in Perforce depots and Visual SourceSafe databases. Therefore, it is now possible to use a Merge folder comparison to compare a Perforce client workspace against the depot. Alternatively, different branches (or the same branch at different points in time) within a depot can be directly compared. Upgrade to Merge v6.5 (13 January 2004)

Merge v6.5 offers many enhancements over previous versions. Araxis has worked hard to make upgrading easy, so users of previous versions should consider upgrading. Upgrades are free for Merge v5.5 and v6.0 subscription customers and anyone who purchased Merge v6.0 after 1 April 2003. Find out more.

Intasoft first to take advantage of tight integration offered by Merge Virtual File System API (10 December 2003)

Intasoft  has selected Merge v6.5 as the preferred file comparison and merging tool for its AllChange configuration management product. By creating a Virtual File System (VFS) plug-in, Intasoft is the first company to take advantage of the tight integration with SCM systems made possible by Merge v6.5. This means that Merge is able to browse AllChange repositories directly, providing a way accurately to control and compare baselines within the AllChange environment. The plug-in offers hierarchical comparison of baselines, important for product release management and variant management. Upgrades to Merge v6.5 can now be purchased online (13 November 2003)

Merge v6.5 release focuses on customer requested enhancements (26 August 2003)

Araxis is delighted to announce the immediate availability of Merge v6.5. Building on the solid foundation of Merge v6.0, this new release delivers dozens of often requested enhancements, such as the ability to create reports of file and folder comparisons. Reports are especially useful for code review, code audit and release management. Other enhancements include enhanced regular expression support, a new Virtual File System (VFS) API and various user interface improvements. For the first time, the Merge user interface has now been localized to support German, French and International Spanish, as well as English. Please see New Features and Changes in Merge for further information about the improvements in Merge v6.5.

Special offer: Buy Merge v6.0 now, get Merge v6.5 for free (9 July 2003)

There is no need to wait until the forthcoming release of Merge v6.5 to purchase Merge – customers who purchase Merge v6.0 after 1 April 2003 will be entitled to a free upgrade to Merge v6.5 when it is released. There is therefore no reason to delay a purchase of Merge v6.0.

Customers with a Merge v5.5 Subscription or a Merge v6.0 Subscription will also be entitled to use Merge v6.5 at no extra cost. Any other commitments made by Araxis to specific non-subscription customers concerning Merge v6.5 will, of course, also be honoured.

Forthcoming Merge v6.5 enters beta testing (6 July 2003)

The eagerly anticipated next version of Merge, Merge v6.5, has now entered beta testing. The beta test period gives a wide variety of users the opportunity to test Merge v6.5 prior to its official release. Because of the possibility that some significant bugs might still be present, beta versions are unsuitable for those who are new to Merge or who need production quality software.

Araxis is delighted to announce the availability of a localized Japanese version of Araxis Merge 2001 v6.0. The application and complete documentation have been translated into Japanese. Like the existing international English release, this localized version of Araxis Merge 2001 supports the comparison of ASCII, MBCS and Unicode files and provides full input method editor (IME) support. The Japanese version of Araxis Merge 2001 v6.0 is available through and supported by AG-Tech Corp , our Japanese distributor.
