Merge for Mac OS X has an AppleScript API that enables you to create scripts to control it. Using AppleScript, you can tightly integrate Merge with other applications or make it part of your workflow.
Getting started with the Automation API
A number of example scripts can be found in the Sample Scripts folder within the Merge installation disk image (.dmg) file. You may use these freely as a basis for your own customized scripts.
