Upgrading From an Older Version of Merge

To upgrade from an earlier version of Merge:

1. Ensure that your serial number’s support expiry date is before the release date of the version of Merge that you are installing. For more information about serial numbers and support expiry dates, please see Understanding Araxis Merge Serial Numbers, Support Expiry and Upgrade/Support Entitlement Renewal.

2. Follow the normal installation procedure to upgrade an earlier version of Merge.

   The Merge setup package will automatically uninstall most earlier versions of Merge. If you are upgrading from a very old version of Merge that isn’t automatically uninstalled, you may uninstall it manually in the usual way.
