To reach this options page, select View > Options... > File Comparisons > Fonts and Colours
The controls on this page are used to configure the appearance of text in the file comparison windows.
Text preview
The text previews show how unchanged, inserted, removed, and changed text blocks will look in file comparison windows.
Background
Click on one of the drop-down colour selection buttons in this group to change the background colour of a text block type. Click the More button within the drop-down to access a larger range of colours.
Font
The buttons in this group enable you to change the font and foreground colour for each type of text block that can be displayed in file comparison windows.
Apply changes to these options to
By default, changes that you make to the colour and font settings are applied to both (or all three in the Professional Edition) file panels. If you want to use different font and colour settings in each of the panels, choose the panel to which you want the changes to apply from this drop-down list. Next, choose the new colours and fonts and then click Apply or OK.
Linking line colour
Click to change the colour of the lines used to link related changes between compared files.
Dimming
Click to change the percentage by which resolved (greyed) sections of file comparison panes are dimmed.
