To install Find Duplicate Files:

Download the Araxis Find Duplicate Files disk image (.dmg file) from the Find Duplicate Files page on the Araxis website.

If you haven’t already, open and mount the Find Duplicate Files disk image (.dmg file) that you have downloaded. You will need to accept the Araxis Find Duplicate Files licence agreement to do this.

Drag the Find Duplicate Files application from the disk image into your system’s Applications folder.
To uninstall Find Duplicate Files:

Move the Find Duplicate Files application from your system’s Applications folder.

If you wish to delete Find Duplicate Files preferences, remove the /Users/<userid>/Library/Preferences/com.araxis.findduplicatefiles.plist file (where <userid> is your login id).

If you wish, remove any ‘Araxis Find Duplicate Files’ item from your login keychain. This contains your registration information, including your serial number.
Troubleshooting
Although problems installing Find Duplicate Files are rare, they do occur from time to time. Araxis support has identified the following steps as likely to solve most installation issues.

Ensure that your system meets the minimum System Requirements for Find Duplicate Files.

Use the Mac OS X Disk Utility application to verify your hard disk and verify disk permissions.

Try going through the uninstallation steps above and then starting the installation again.
